DBRS Releases Reports on Rogers Communications Inc.

Dominion Bond Rating Service (“DBRS”) has today released reports on Rogers Communications Inc. (“RCI” or the “Company”) and its two operating companies, Rogers Wireless Inc. (“Rogers Wireless”) and Rogers Cable Inc. (“Rogers Cable”). These reports support the recent trend change from Stable to Positive and the confirmation of all three companies’ ratings: RCI – BB (low); Rogers Wireless – BB and BB (low); and Rogers Cable – BB.

DBRS notes that the trend change was driven by reduced financial risk for the group (including RCI, the parent company) and an improved business risk profile at Rogers Wireless and Rogers Cable.
