DBRS Finalizes Class A-2, A-3 and A-4 Ratings of CARAT 2008-1, Rates Class A-1, B, C and D
AutoDBRS has today finalized the ratings of the Capital Auto Receivables Asset Trust 2008-1 (CARAT 2008-1) transaction as noted below:

--$136,000,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-2b rated at AAA
--$55,000,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-3a rated at AAA
--$304,000,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-3b rated at AAA
--$66,407,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-4a rated at AAA
--$54,000,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-4b rated at AAA
DBRS has also assigned ratings to the following classes:
--$207,000,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-1 rated at R-1 (high)
--$32,583,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class B rated at “A”
--$15,038,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class C rated at BBB
--$5,013,000 Asset-Backed Notes, Class D rated at BB
This transaction represents the first public securitization of retail auto loans by GMAC, LLC in 2008.
The ratings reflect the ability of the transaction structure to withstand significant stresses relative to base case losses and prepayment speeds, as appropriate for the rating category.
