DBRS Finalizes Provisional Ratings for DCAT 2008-B

DBRS has today finalized the provisional ratings for the DaimlerChrysler Auto Trust 2008-B (DCAT 2008-B) transaction as noted below:

-- $325 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-1 rated R-1 (high)
-- $195 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-2a rated AAA
-- $370 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-2b rated AAA
-- $205 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-3a rated at AAA
-- $105 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-3b rated at AAA
-- $125.5 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-4a rated at AAA
-- $40 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class A-4b rated at AAA
-- $90.3 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class B rated at “A”
-- $45.2 million Asset-Backed Notes, Class C rated at BBB

The DCAT 2008-B notes settled May 19, 2008. This transaction represents the second public securitization of retail auto loans by DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas LLC in 2008.

The ratings reflect the ability of the transaction structure to withstand significant stresses relative to base case losses and prepayment speeds, as appropriate for the rating category.
