DBRS Releases Report on CIT Group Inc.

DBRS has today released a report on CIT Group Inc. (CIT) that provides further detail on the recent downgrade of the ratings.

In addition, consistent with the previous rating action on CIT, the parent of Newcourt Credit Group Inc. (Newcourt), DBRS has today downgraded the Senior Debt rating of Newcourt to A (low) from “A”. Concurrently, the rating has been removed from Under Review with Negative Implications. The trend on the rating is Negative.
