DBRS Publishes Sample Peer Comparison of Structured Income Funds

Other
May 11, 2010

Earlier today, DBRS published a methodology for rating structured income funds. To illustrate how the methodology would be applied, DBRS has published a sample peer comparison of 18 income funds and provided an indicative stability assessment for each fund. The comparison lists information on each fund’s general characteristics, distribution policy, portfolio composition and major stability risk factors. DBRS chose a sample of 18 existing income funds with varied portfolio holdings and characteristics to show how different factors result in a higher or lower stability rating.

Note:
The applicable methodology is Stability Ratings for Structured Income Funds, which can be found on our website under Methodologies.
