DBRS Updates P3 Methodology with Subordinate Debt Requirements

DBRS has today added an appendix to its methodology for rating Canadian public-private partnerships (P3s) to address the inclusion of subordinate debt in the capital structure. No other changes have been made to the methodology. DBRS anticipates publishing a full update of the methodology early in 2011 that will incorporate the subordinate debt appendix.
