DBRS Releases Report on Encana Corporation

DBRS has today released a report on Encana Corporation (Encana or the Company) and Encana Holdings Finance Corp. that supports the recent trend change of their ratings to Negative from Stable. The rating action reflects DBRS’s concern that the continued challenging natural gas market environment may lead Encana’s credit risk profile to deteriorate to a level that is no longer consistent with the current rating categories.
