DBRS U.S. Rental Car Securitization Methodology Request for Comment Period Ends
AutoDBRS, Inc. (DBRS) requested comments on October 14, 2015, relating to an update to the “Rating U.S. Rental Car Securitizations” methodology (the Methodology). The updated Methodology outlined rating criteria for the B and BB rating categories (previous rating criteria only covered the BBB, “A,” AA and AAA rating categories). In addition, proposed revisions to the Methodology included updates to the expected liquidation timing for certain existing rating categories, as well as updates to the existing market value stresses for investment-grade and non-investment-grade risk vehicles for all current rating categories.
The request for comment period has now ended and DBRS did not receive any comments for the proposed changes to the Methodology. Consequently, the proposed changes are now effective for all U.S. Rental Car Securitizations as of November 16, 2015.
