DBRS Publishes Updated Asset Management Methodology After Comment Period Closed

DBRS Limited (DBRS) released its “Rating Companies in the Asset Management Industry” methodology (the Methodology) after the closure of a public request for comments (RFC) period that ended on January 22, 2018, per the press release “DBRS Requests Comments on Proposed 2017 Update to Asset Management Methodology,” dated December 21, 2017. The Methodology presents the criteria on which asset management company ratings are based.

DBRS received no comments to the Methodology during the RFC period; therefore, the Methodology published on January 26, 2018, has only minor changes from the version released for comment. The Methodology is thus effective as of January 26, 2018.
