DBRS Updates and Requests Comment on Rating Companies in the Automotive Manufacturing and Supplier Industries Methodology

DBRS updated the corporate finance methodology “Rating Companies in the Automotive Manufacturing and Supplier Industries” and is requesting comments on this methodology in order that it may be used by analysts located in Europe (the methodology is already available for use by analysts located in North America). This update supersedes the version of the methodology that was previously published in October 2017.

While certain details have been clarified in this methodology, changes overall are not substantive, and DBRS has determined that no ratings will change as a result of the update.

DBRS publishes on its website all comments received except in cases where confidentiality is requested by the respondent.
