Ontario, Province of: Rating Report

On June 6, 2024, DBRS Limited (Morningstar DBRS) upgraded the Issuer Rating and the Long-Term Debt rating of the Province of Ontario (the Province) to AA from AA (low), and the Short-Term Debt rating to R-1 (high) from R-1 (middle). Morningstar DBRS also upgraded the Ontario Electricity Financial Corporation's Long-Term Obligations rating to AA from AA (low) (based on the Province's rating). The trend on all ratings has been changed to Stable from Positive.
