Morningstar DBRS Publishes Updated Global Methodology for Rating Investment Management Companies

Morningstar DBRS published an updated version of its "Global Methodology for Rating Investment Management Companies" (the Methodology).

The Methodology presents the criteria for which investment management companies' credit ratings are assigned and/or monitored globally.

The Methodology supersedes the prior version published on April 15, 2024, and is effective as of December 4, 2024.

Morningstar DBRS has conducted a periodic review of the Methodology. Morningstar DBRS deems the update not to be material and determined that no credit ratings are expected to change as a result of this update.
